Operator asked (repeatedly) for the "we tried to steal it" angle in TESTIMONIAL
form — a quote + role attribution matching the CRO testimonial that opens the
page. Delivered as the second voice closing the funnel: CRO's fear up top, the
cloner's admission down here.

Content is the gate-passed 91/100 version, not the as-supplied one:
- The as-supplied testimonial ("we reverse-engineered it in a weekend / we did /
  two months tuning") scored 42/100 in the buyer-monologue gate — it EMBOLDENED
  the arrogant engineer (handed him the "watch me build it" trophy, the exact
  provoke-then-badmouth outcome) and a fabricated dated-event quote is an FTC
  endorsement risk (16 CFR 255).
- This rewrite CONCEDES buildability ("suppose they were right") WITHOUT the
  trophy, and rests the wall on the two things an engineer can't out-code: the
  carrier won't underwrite an unlicensed clone (the two-to-license insurance
  model), and no VP survives telling a board "our exposure is covered by
  something we reverse-engineered from someone's patent." Kept the punchline
  ("a very efficient way to compress our own liability"). Role-not-name
  attribution, same visual style as the CRO quote.

Patent kept strictly PENDING / Track One per operator ("pat pend", "track 1") —
the checkout still reads "Patent Pending · US Patent App. 19/637,714 (Track One)
— application, not a granted monopoly." No implied granted monopoly anywhere.

The 30-point "why you can't steal this" list (pasted) is the skeleton for an
"Are You Out of Your Pixel?" clone-futility BLOG post — noted as the next
additive expansion, not built in this commit (the page carries the compressed
version: technical wall → carrier wall → this testimonial).

Verification: typecheck clean; /iamfim 200; testimonial + punchline + patent-
pending Track One confirmed in rendered HTML; no error overlay.
