Operator: "add the hilarious we tried to steal it testimonial further down the
page... make this right." Ran it through the buyer-monologue gate as the exact
readers (arrogant Principal Engineer + CRO/GC).

- The as-supplied testimonial ("we reverse-engineered it in a weekend / we did /
  two months tuning", attributed to a "VP of Engineering") scored 42/100: it
  EMBOLDENED the arrogant engineer it meant to disarm (handed him the "it's
  buildable, watch me" trophy — the operator's exact feared provoke-then-badmouth
  outcome), and a fabricated attributed quote describing a specific event is an
  FTC-endorsement risk (16 CFR 255) a GC would smell.
- Made right (gate-passed 91/100, "ship it"): reframed as an ILLUSTRATIVE PATTERN
  — no fake attribution, no "weekend/we did it" buildability trophy. It CONCEDES
  you can build it ("suppose you do") and walks straight to the wall an engineer
  can't out-code: the carrier won't underwrite an unlicensed clone (the two-to-
  license insurance model, dramatized), and no VP can tell a board "our exposure
  is covered by a tool we reverse-engineered from someone's patent" without going
  personally on the hook. Kept the self-deprecating punchline ("a very efficient
  way to compress their own liability" — turns their own competence into the joke)
  and cut the "It happens." throat-clear per the gate's one note.

Placement: right after the technical wall (the published-calibration build-vs-buy
block) — so the sequence reads technical-wall → legal/carrier-wall → evidence.
The moat now rests on TWO legs an engineer can't code around: beat-the-null
difficulty AND the carrier/board's refusal of an unlicensed clone.

gate, and still conclude it's worthless — because his carrier and his board will
