Three operator asks (2026-07-09), all on the daily book-club path:
- 2 HOURS to think: preview moves from 16:00 to 15:00, send stays 17:00 — a 2h
  rewrite window instead of 1h.
- CIRCLED RECEIPT IN ALL EMAILS: the 4pm preview used to send --no-attach with no
  panel; it now picks today's commit tolerance panel, renders it (--panel), and
  inlines the PNG (--inline), so the preview carries the same signed drift receipt
  the 5pm send does. The passage's proper in-context book link was already there and
  is preserved.
- NO DESYNC: the preview PINS its panel to data/bookclub/panel-pin-<DAY>.json and
  send-daily REUSES that pin (falling back to a fresh pick only if absent), so the
  receipt the operator reviews in the preview is byte-identical to the one that ships.
  pick-panel only reads the ledger (append is at send time), so pinning early is
  side-effect-free.

Deliverable is the guard: tests/bookclub/preview-carries-panel.test.sh asserts the
2h window, the preview's pick/pin/inline, the send's reuse, and LIVE-renders a
preview to prove the panel block is actually present. (Verified the render under
bash — the controller is #!/bin/bash; the zsh dev shell doesn't word-split the
$PANEL_ARGS var, which is a harness quirk, not a controller bug.)

Three operator asks (2026-07-09), all on the daily book-club path:
- 2 HOURS to think: preview moves from 16:00 to 15:00, send stays 17:00 — a 2h
  rewrite window instead of 1h.
- CIRCLED RECEIPT IN ALL EMAILS: the 4pm preview used to send --no-attach with no
  panel; it now picks today's commit tolerance panel, renders it (--panel), and
  inlines the PNG (--inline), so the preview carries the same signed drift receipt
  the 5pm send does. The passage's proper in-context book link was already there and
  is preserved.
- NO DESYNC: the preview PINS its panel to data/bookclub/panel-pin-<DAY>.json and
  send-daily REUSES that pin (falling back to a fresh pick only if absent), so the
  receipt the operator reviews in the preview is byte-identical to the one that ships.
  pick-panel only reads the ledger (append is at send time), so pinning early is
  side-effect-free.

Deliverable is the guard: tests/bookclub/preview-carries-panel.test.sh asserts the
2h window, the preview's pick/pin/inline, the send's reuse, and LIVE-renders a
