You set it up right. If our receipt was wrong, you call it in.

When our receipt reads green on work that missed the spec you declared before it ran, the record marks a claim you can call. Nobody argues it; the receipt shows it.

One licence opens one tape: one agent, on one job you declared.

The tape records every change that agent makes on that job, placed against the job you wrote down before it ran. A licence covers 10,000 receipts or 365 days, whichever comes first. Three jobs, three licences, three tapes.

Standing is read off the tape: how long it is, and whether the spec you declared held across it. A long tape that held in one area reads stronger than many short ones that cover little, and the area is printed beside the count.

Example: a robot that deletes stale orders

  • The job: delete unpaid orders older than 30 days, up to a limit you set.
  • Flagged: more rows than the limit, or rows a sync touched in the last day.
  • Outside the job: any paid order, any schema change, any write outside the tables you named.

The rulebook for "stale" is longer than any agent holds, and the database moves overnight: the same instruction removed 4 orders one day and 7 the next. Asking the agent how sure it is asks the same model that forgot the rule. Here the rules are written once, in order, before the run, and every change is read against them by arithmetic. When the world moves, nothing is retrained.

The holder's path

  1. Buy a licence: $20, one tape.
  2. Write the job and its three classes before the first run.
  3. Wire the hook into your repo and run the doctor check until it passes.
  4. Back the tape up to a third party: the public mirror or your own remote.
  5. Your licences fill a pool of Elias's time: when something is not working, book a call from it on this page.
  6. A claim, when our receipt was wrong, draws down the cover on that tape.

Today every receipt on an account goes on one tape. Separate tapes per job, the three classes and the standing read are being built in that order; this page will say when each one runs.

How you call in a claim

Set it up first

  1. Install the Steer extension and run the doctor check until it passes, on your own machine.
  2. Declare the spec before the work runs: the job this agent is for, in your words.
  3. Convert agent-years into cover for that one workflow, before the run.
  4. See your first receipt read on your own commit.

A claim is callable only on a workflow set up this way. Each step leaves a mark on your own tape, so nobody argues later about whether it was set up right.

Then, when our receipt reads green on work that missed the spec you declared, you can call a claim. Have three things ready: the commit, the spec you declared, and the receipt that read green.

Each claim draws down the agent-years you converted into cover for that workflow, and the help is in proportion to them: hands-on time with Elias, up to 4 hours a claim, to finish what you started. The work never runs past the claims you cash in. We make it right in proportion to what you paid for the licences, or the licences you were given.

Before you call

Elias is busy, and he wants to hear from you.

Elias is grateful you took the time to set this up.

A claim is a call on something that does not work for you yet, and Elias wants to make it work for you.

So book ahead, say how many warranties you are spending, and bring the commit, the spec and the receipt. Open with one line: what you expected, and what happened.

The call runs as long as the warranties you spent. Then the call ends, and you can book another.

Licence holders get a direct WhatsApp line to Elias on the page they reach after buying or claiming their licences.

Coming next: an open channel where licence holders answer each other's claims. A holder who closes your claim earns agent-years for it, so help never waits on one person.

It pays only when our receipt was wrong, never on what your agent does or the damage it caused. Paid in hands-on help and agent-years, never cash, never transferable.

The install and the measurement are free and open-source (MIT); only the financialization/attestation layer is licensed.
