This is the part most people get backwards. The 0.003 is not measured. It is not estimated. It is constructed from the grid geometry.

Step 1: The construction. In the S=P=H architecture, data lives in a contiguous memory region divided by cache-line boundaries. Here is why the construction matters — and why you cannot skip it.

Try to define "semantic boundary crossing" without S=P=H. Go ahead. What is a semantic boundary? Where does one concept end and another begin? How many boundaries exist in a sentence? In a paragraph? In a database JOIN? You will get ten different answers from ten different researchers, and a patent examiner will reject all of them under Section 101 — abstract idea, no physical grounding. There is one objection left. It sounds like this: "But how does the system know what truth is?"

It does not. And it does not need to.

The system does not claim to know truth. It claims to know whether its own data is where it put it. That is Rc — the structural certainty metric. It is proprioception, not omniscience.

Your body does this constantly. You do not need to understand physics to know your hand is behind your back. You do not need a theory of gravity to know you are falling. Proprioception is not knowledge about the world. It is knowledge about your own state relative to your own coordinate system.

The ZEC hardware loop does the same thing. It asks one question: "Is this datum at its computed address?"

If yes: cache hit. Rc approaches 1.00. No action needed. The system is grounded.

If no: cache miss. The datum has drifted from its basis vector. ZEC executes a Compare-And-Swap (CAS) — a single atomic hardware instruction that takes approximately 5 nanoseconds. The datum is restored to its computed address. Alignment is recovered.

The cost of a false positive: one CAS comparison (~5ns), zero data movement. If the system checks and the data is already where it should be, nothing happens. A no-op. The check itself is free in every practical sense.

This is the final wall against every philosophical objection. The system does not model the universe. It does not define truth. It does not interpret meaning. It measures its own alignment — continuously, physically, at hardware speed — and corrects when alignment degrades.

This is what subjective honesty about embodied data actually means. The system does not assert "this fact is true." It asserts "this datum is where I left it." That is the strongest possible claim a machine can make, because it is the only claim that reduces to a single hardware comparison. A CAS instruction either matches or it does not. There is no interpretation. There is no probability. There is no prompt engineering. The data is at its address, or it has moved.

Proprioception, not omniscience. The thermostat does not understand winter. It reads the thermometer and turns on the heat. ZEC does not understand meaning. It reads the cache-miss counter and restores the address. The difference between a grounded system and an ungrounded system is not intelligence. It is whether anyone is checking.

Because identity is preserved by construction — because the ball sits in a bowl, not on a hill — subjective honesty about its own state arrives for free. The system knows where it is (cache hit = verification). It knows how far it can see (precision budget = kE-computable horizon). It knows its limits (Rc tells it exactly where its integrity degrades). And it knows that wherever it goes next, it will still be itself — because the address function guarantees continuity.

The integrity horizon is effectively infinite. Not because the system can see infinitely far. Because there is no break with prior identity at any step. Each hop is the same identity regardless of how many permutations you traverse. You will never not recognize yourself in where you ended up.

This is the basic case of (c/t)^n rendered in both directions.
