feat(cat-bond): broadcast page — 12 hypothetical buyer monologues + define-of-definer walk panels

A thinking tool, not an ad: /cat-bond frames the AI-accumulation cat bond as an
evolving technical standard. Twelve predicted buyer monologues (reinsurance CUO,
cat-bond structurer, broker, chief actuary, ILS PM, CRO, supervisor, rating
analyst, retro broker, MGA, sidecar, cyber CUO) — each names the precise technical
reason current instruments (lagging claims, proprietary attestations, model-in-loop
triggers, empty loss triangles, no unit of exposure) cannot count a correlated
agent-failure event, and ours can. Real tolerance panels from commit ba3ae2bf3 in
a row: pre-walk grids (grounding problem) → leaf-walk clouds (definer-of-definer
walk grounds them) → encircled reading. Links to the draft term sheet, live
receipts, and npx thetacog-mcp.

Two guards by design: (1) unmissable hypothetical/thinking-tool/non-solicitation
banner — monologues are role+firm-type archetypes, never real quotes; (2) linked
term sheet is a clearly-marked illustrative DRAFT with a securities NON-OFFER
disclaimer. Static under public/ → deploys on push.

Story: The 'traction as traction' reframe made physical — broadcast the standard to the ~50 balance sheets that need it by predicting their monologue, not by advertising. The panel row is the whole grounding argument in one image; the 12 monologues are the market decomposition. measure→calibrate→securitize; the page pitches the Joint Validity Study, the bond is the North Star.
Persona-Intent: The Tier-1 reinsurance CUO / cat-bond structurer — should read their own predicted monologue, recognize the technical gap no incumbent instrument fills, and think 'that's what it is — nothing else on the market counts this event; I want the Joint Validity Study.'

what you're looking at: the whole map is your competence lattice — both edges are the same 144 ShortLex anchors (what you do × what you act on). Each lit cell is one place this commit said something (its message + docs) and did something (its code). Colour = whether saying and doing landed in the same lane.
green — in lane: you worked where you declared. This is the competence; more green is better.
amber — bleed: code touched a neighbour you didn't mention. A little is normal — nobody declares everything.
red — drift: code fired in an orthogonal lane (the surgeon doing plumbing) and enough of it to flip the aggregate. Red ≈ 0 is what good looks like.
the pink ring is this commit's coordinate — where its work actually concentrated on the lattice.
so, this commit: 441 green, 467 amber, 371 red → off-lane 29% against a 25% tolerance — ⚠ TOO MANY out-of-lane — drifting.

alarm too much reality fired in ORTHOGONAL lanes — the aggregate flip; this is the drift the instrument exists to catch · vs your last 10 commits: p5 of last 10 — normal for you lately
2 · can you trust that reading?
N/A — docs-only commit (by design)
n/a docs-only commit: no code changed, so said-vs-did has no reality side to grip — σ is N/A by design today (the instrument being honest, not failing); judge this commit by the lane read above
3 · where does this commit live?
A,A1 Strategy × Strategy·Law → A3,B2 Strategy·Fund × Tactics·Deal
read it as actor × patient: this commit is mostly Strategy × Strategy·Law work acting on Strategy·Fund × Tactics·Deal (grip 0.734). this is the commit's COORDINATE — where the work lives — not a judgement; the panels below (◎ marks this cell) are what judge it · drift concentrates in lane C1 · Operations·Grid — read that row on the TOLERANCE panel
next: do not act on the panels — on a docs-only commit this is expected; otherwise fix the ingest and re-run · open the TOLERANCE panel and chase the red rows — undeclared work shipped
what this instrument measures: drift = what this commit SAID (message + docs) vs what it DID (code), sensed and walked on the chip — a deterministic read, not an LLM opinion. in reading order: ① the verdict (above) → ② the maps (the raw sense grids, then the leaf-walk clouds that bridge them, then DELTA/TOLERANCE judging the result) → ③ the numbers, contextualized (every value with band · verdict · percentile · what it leads to) → ④ expert detail, collapsed (attestation · receipts · timings · σ inputs).

A,A1 — Strategy × Strategy·Law (actor) acting on A3,B2 — Strategy·Fund × Tactics·Deal (patient) · grip 0.734
actor seed A,A1 — Strategy establishes the long-horizon substrate that inherits the binding mandate of a law or governance rule. EU AI Act Article 14 requires human-on-the-loop oversight, with the supervisor able to interrupt the system at any moment. Compliance attaches to the artifact the artifact cannot escape — provenance is a regulatory primitive, not a feature. Constraints precede objectives. The cap-table, the license text, the consent envelope — each draws the inviolate line the action must respect, and the line is enforced before the optimization runs. A rule names what the system MAY NOT do. If the agent can do X, then 'forbid X' is not the constraint — it is wishful thinking dressed as policy. Constraints live in the gate, not in the prompt. Regulation is not advisory. The fine is the price tag stapled to the omitted control; insurance is the option pricing on the failure-mode the regulation already named. The lattice we build today is what next year's underwriter inherits. We set the substrate that downstream pricing rides on, and that choice is paid back across every quarter we keep operating. Direction is what you keep when you forget the calendar. Multi-year posture, irreversibly chosen, defines the boundary every quarter renegotiates inside. Strategy is the bearing the rotation is measured against. Capital lives where strategy is durable. Frame the ten-year shape of the business before optimizing the ten-week sprint; the substrate decisions compound while the surface decisions decay. The strategic question is which doors close on purpose. Anything that keeps every option open until next year has already chosen the option of inaction, paid in optionality cost.
patient seed A3,B2 — Sufficient capital funds provide the dollar floor needed to secure a favorable deal rate and exchange terms. Every dollar builds either the floor (substrate that lifts future bets) or the ceiling (cap on the next round). Allocation is which one this dollar chooses, and the choice is irreversible by the time the wire clears. The deal sets the exchange rate between two value substrates. Mis-priced exchange is a slow-bleed; correctly priced exchange compounds both sides, because each cycle of trade enriches the bench on both ends. Burn rate divides into substrate-building and exhaust. Substrate compounds; exhaust evaporates by quarter-end. The investor who pays for substrate is buying a different asset than the investor who pays for exhaust. Terms are the API between two organizations — every clause is a contract method that survives the handshake. Renegotiation is the breaking change; the deal is the stable interface either side can build against. Capital allocation is the irreversible vote — the bet that closes options to keep the others open. Each dollar deployed buys both the asset and the foreclosure of every alternative the dollar could have funded. Negotiation closes at the moment both parties' BATNAs cross. Push past that point and you've bought regret at retail; stop short and you've left margin on the table that the next deal will not return to you. The funding question is the runway question. Eighteen months at one burn rate is a different company than twelve months at a higher burn rate, even when the bank balance matches. A signed counterparty is more valuable than an unsigned promise. The signature is the substrate; the conversation that preceded it is the exhaust the signature converted into substrate.

feat(cat-bond): broadcast page — 12 hypothetical buyer monologues + define-of-definer walk panels

A thinking tool, not an ad: /cat-bond frames the AI-accumulation cat bond as an
evolving technical standard. Twelve predicted buyer monologues (reinsurance CUO,
cat-bond structurer, broker, chief actuary, ILS PM, CRO, supervisor, rating
analyst, retro broker, MGA, sidecar, cyber CUO) — each names the precise technical
reason current instruments (lagging claims, proprietary attestations, model-in-loop
triggers, empty loss triangles, no unit of exposure) cannot count a correlated
agent-failure event, and ours can. Real tolerance panels from commit ba3ae2bf3 in
a row: pre-walk grids (grounding problem) → leaf-walk clouds (definer-of-definer
walk grounds them) → encircled reading. Links to the draft term sheet, live
receipts, and npx thetacog-mcp.

Two guards by design: (1) unmissable hypothetical/thinking-tool/non-solicitation
banner — monologues are role+firm-type archetypes, never real quotes; (2) linked
term sheet is a clearly-marked illustrative DRAFT with a securities NON-OFFER
disclaimer. Static under public/ → deploys on push.

③ the numbers, contextualized — value · band · verdict · percentile · what it leads to
shape-match σ · -0.31 (discounted) noise p40 of last 10
below zero — this read is noise, not a measurement · docs-only: reality ⊆ the doc corpus, so this σ measures self-similarity, not alignment → do not act on the panels — on a docs-only commit this is expected; otherwise fix the ingest and re-run
good looks like: positive on an aligned commit (phantom P1: sigmaPositive) · ≥6 clears the trust floor · ≥8.5 verified-reef · 0–3 = panel story not yet evidence
tolerance (edge cells) · 441 green · 467 amber · 371 red · off-lane 29% alarm p5 of last 10
too much reality fired in ORTHOGONAL lanes — the aggregate flip; this is the drift the instrument exists to catch → open the TOLERANCE panel and chase the red rows — undeclared work shipped
good looks like: red ≈ 0 and orthogonal off-lane < 10% on an in-lane commit (phantom P1: redZero, offPctBelow 10) — a few amber is normal bleed
pre-walk overlap · 3% mostly-disjoint p25 of last 10
docs and code light different cells — normal for a code-heavy commit; the WALK is what bridges them → nothing to do — judge alignment by σ and the walk panels, not this raw overlap
good looks like: green overlap WITHOUT being a copy — near-100% is self-similarity (a docs-only read), not alignment
drift (XOR %) · 1.128% of compared cells disagree close p75 of last 10
intent and reality mostly agree cell-for-cell → nothing to chase
the walks (how the heatmaps were made) · intent 134 hops → ply 7 · reality 132 hops → ply 7 · 1034ms inside-budget
both cascades ran to extinction inside the time budget — the read is complete · each hop = one real on-chip ballistic process; intent ended at A3,C2 · B3,C1 · C1,C3, reality at C,A3 · B2,B3 · C2,B2 — the definers-of-definers the recursion concentrated on → the ply story in the panels is complete
good looks like: both sides finish inside the 2500ms budget; clouds concentrate at block-heads (the ShortLex-ascending follow), early plies heavy, deep plies faint
lattice fill · intent 1406/20736 (6.8%) · reality 1279/20736 (6.2%) walkable
a real, walkable lattice (~4% is the density target) — the walk had ground to cover → nothing to do
the ladder — what's climbing · weakest link first
→ weakest · intersection-specific words/tile (median) · 5 (over 144 tiles) → target 70 parent-echo distance 0.93 · author intersection-specific seeds (what does B,A3 say that NEITHER parent says alone?) — the single highest-leverage number in the system
σ_drift (commit panel, median last 10 non-docs-only) · 0.09 (n=10) → target 6 weak distance 0.98 · read the maps as sketch, not evidence — converge the seed library before citing this
σ_response pass count · 32/144 → target 144 thin distance 0.78 · raise seed richness (the reef GDD loop) — pass count follows intersection-specific words
σ_localize (latest targeted edit) · 0.61 @ B3,B3 → target 6 chance distance 0.9 · iterate the ingest until the target zone owns its own edit — the brain-surgeon read does not yet hold
sweep coverage (deterministic top-rank hits) · 23/46 → target 46 majority distance 0.5 · chase the missing tiles in the sweep — each convert lifts σ_panel directly
seed orthogonality (distinct openings) · 143/144 → target 144 converging distance 0.01 · fix the few shared openings — tile-dump-inspect names them
σ_panel (joint rank certainty) · 10.63 → target 6 beyond-doubt distance 0 · cite the distribution-level claim (carry the independence caveat)
next move (picked by the system, not session memory): intersection-specific words/tile (median) is furthest from target weighted by leverage (5 (over 144 tiles) vs target 70 → distance 0.93 × leverage 1 = 0.93) — author intersection-specific seeds (what does B,A3 say that NEITHER parent says alone?) — the single highest-leverage number in the system
